Calibrating the compass

Follow the instructions below to start the guided calibration procedure. Before starting, take the vehicle to an area where the calibration procedure will not be subject to possible interference. The procedure must be performed in a location away from high voltage power lines and large metal structures, and with enough space to drive in a complete circle.

Note: The calibration screens may vary depending on the vehicle selected. ALWAYS READ THE SCREEN PROMPTS CAREFULLY.

  1. Select: / Autosteer options Menu / Calibrate auto-steering .

The Autosteer calibration screen is displayed.

  1. Select COMPASS. If the component is indicated as already calibrated, perform the procedure anyway if the receiver has not been calibrated on this vehicle.
  2. Read the on-screen instructions and find a suitable area of flat ground, far away from high-voltage lines and large metal structures. Select Next .
  3. Drive the vehicle in a circle with the steering wheel turned to approximately 75% of full lock (either left or right). After completing one and a half turns, stop and select Next.
  4. Drive the vehicle in a straight line for approximately 100 m and STOP the vehicle. Select Next.
  5. The system will start to save the calibration data. Wait for the on-screen message indicating that the calibration procedure has been completed correctly, then confirm .
